Shaun Johannes is one of the foremost bass guitarists in South Africa, with a career spanning almost 20 years. He is a regular first-call bassist for numerous music productions and is also a product endorsee of some top music brands. Apart from playing with most of South Africa’s biggest stars, he has played with some truly global music icons such as George Benson and Jonathan Butler. Shaun is currently the Electric Bass lecturer for the Jazz Studies programme at the University of Cape Town and is also the owner/recording engineer at Mahogany Recording Studios.
